Paris

Paris large hand-formed polymer stud earrings in soft pink, green and white.

This pair was inspired by a trip to Paris last Autumn. I had been on the look out for green clay for ages and finally found the right shade while I was there. I stayed in the hilltop Montemarte district, where I had a fine view of the Sacre de Coeur (sacred heart) Basilica from my window. In chakra terms, green is the colour of the heart and rose quartz (pink) is also associated with opening the heart chakra. While in Paris, I got my work stocked at the beautiful Klin d’Oeil boutique. I picked up a postcard while I was hand delivering my stock which has the colours pink, green and white on it. So coming home to make a combination to capture my memories of this trip, this colour combination felt most fitting.
