Súilrise/Sunrise Risograph Print

Súilrise/Sunrise: Awakening to Wonder 3-colour A3 risograph print. Edition of 20 signed and numbered. Printed on 240gsm Munken Polar paper.The inspiration for this design came from my baby boy Remy. Becoming a mother has been life changing. It feels like the dawn of a new phase of my life and a totally new way of seeing the world. Seeing Remy’s eyes light up when he smiles is honestly the most beautiful thing I have ever seen! He is awakening love and wonder in me and I hope this design (which is also a large-scale mural) inspires others to see the world with more childlike wonder and appreciation for the beauty all around.The three colours, yellow, fluorescent pink and red are warm and aim to be like the colours that can be seen in the sky when it’s a beautiful sunrise. The eyelashes have been exaggerated to symbolise the rays of the sun and the shape of the eye is childlike and round to give a wide-eyed-in-wonder feel.This poster is sold unframed and is shipped securely packaged in a cardboard tube. Please note, risograph inks are soy-based, and are wet when printed. This means that printing with multiple layers involves handling wet ink, so slight imperfections in the print may occur.
