Consolidation

Consolidation - noun; the act or process of bringing together (separate parts) into a single or unified whole.

For the last few years I had been trying to decide whether to bring together all my different business names and creative outlets into one space. I didn’t want to lose the individual names, as each still resonates - and has meaning and allows me to express different things. But I was feeling fragmented and restricted. I just couldn’t decide. Nothing felt clear. But thankfully, slowly, over the summer with lots of time off from teaching yoga and other commitments I could let the question simmer away in my subconscious - with the hope that an answer and direction would start to emerge.

Thanks to some mentoring with my Local Enterprise Office and a complimentary short call with a designer who I am inspired by overseas, a ‘yes’ to just one website with my name as the domain emerged. So a total consolidation of all my creative pursuits over the past number of years. I liked the analogy of www.stephsheahan.com as the mother to all my ideas and creative outputs and offerings - holding space for them all, nurturing them.

So it feels good to now have one creative space for all things food, art, design, nature and wellbeing - and whatever else I feel drawn to along the way. A container for new recipes, new journal posts, new projects and products that will soon be making their way into the world, when the time is ripe…
